Just Because...

I sit here with my oldest daughter. She was born just before i turned 16, we kind of grew up together i guess. She'll be 48 soon. It amazes me that i have a kid that age.
We are very close, having shared so much over the years. There were periods of time when she was off living her life that i didn't see her for years at a time. Sometimes i wouldn't hear from her for months. Oh how i missed her then. She is so special in my life. She was never perfect, she made mistakes, but she carried my heart with her where ever she went.
This is Lisa and i......just for the joy of it.

  1. hmmm, that's lovely Linda. So special to have time with each other. And I love how you said that you "grew up together" -- it's really true, huh? YOu were a young mom, but it looks like you did a great job.

So glad you shared your JOY with me!

  3. What a lovely post about you and your daughter. I connected immediately because my daughter is 40 and I'm 59. We grew up together to. Your post brought tears to my eyes.

  6. What a special relationship :) My mom was only a few years older when she had me; she said she didn't feel old herself at turning a "certain age," but really felt old when I turned 50! LOL! I know how much I enjoy spending time with her - sounds like you have a wonderful time also with your children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren!
